ABOUT OUR COLLEGE

 The history of Sta. Elena (Cam. Norte) College, Inc. begin in1995 when the spouses Dr. Noli D. Bayani and Dr. Rovima Recamadas Bayani founded the SECNC. The first classes were held at Bayani’s residential house with only 23 students.
   Then on 1997, the first graduation exercises were held at the Municipal gymnasium with MR. ORLANDO NAAG TESDA V REGIONAL Director as the commencement Speaker.
   In 1998, the school campus transferred in the 2nd floor of Rosary of Virgin Mary Hospital.
   And in the year 1999, SECNCI topped the TESDA Competency Test with passing percentage of 97% and got the top 1 in the person of Mrs. Shirley B. Grospe, beating other technical school in our province.
   In the year 2000, the number of students increased. The CHED approved the board resolution to offer the Bachelor’s Degree.
   During the year 2001, the institution offers new courses such as Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE) & Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED).
   In 2006, SECNCI have the pioneering or first graduates of BEED with area of specialization in English, as well as the first batch of 1 yr. HRM graduates. By that year also, the first graduates of BEED and other 2 BSE graduates took the Licensure Examination for Teachers and luckily all of them passed.
   During that year also, because of the past growing industries demand the former Computer Technician course was redesigned and became Computer Hardware Servicing NC II patterned to National Competency Standards and with the training Regulation given by TESDA.
   In 2007, the 2nd batch of BEED had graduated. Then the former Health Aide Course was redesigned and TESDA approved it with its new course name – Health Care Services NC II and additional course PCO was also approved by TESDA
   In 2008, the 2nd batch of BEED graduates took LET and 2 of them passed.
   In the same year, the vocational courses took Competency Assessment Test given by TESDA and we are proud to have 11 passers out of 14 CHS students and 4 passers out of 6 computer Secretarial graduates. During this year, new courses were approved by TESDA the Food & Beverages Services NC II (FBS) & the Housekeeping NC II.
   In June 2012, FBS got 92% passing rate of National Competency Assessment and as well as Housekeeping NC II which got 89% respectively.
   On Sept. 30, 2013, another sets of graduates of Bachelor of Elementary Education took the LET and we got high percentage of passers. Also we are Top 1 in Provincial Level in terms of Over All Performance in LET.
   Last January 2014, another batch of TCP SECNCnians gained another 100% passing percentage.
   And just, on March 2014, FBS NC II and Hairdressing NC II got 100% passing percentage during their National Competency Assessment. And 55% from CHS NC II.

   2014 - the SECNCI Transferred to its new campus in P-10, SECNCI Two storey Building was built

   By 2015, SECNCI Offer SHS- with two tracks, TV-ICT & TVL-HE.
   By 2016, SECNCI starts the classes of Senior High School, (TV-ICT) & (TVL –HE).
   In 2017, the 3rd & 4th floor was built as well as providing the different laboratories for the students to be more conducive & a perfect place for learning
   Currently, SECNCI is ongoing on its Heading for Decades of Success and building infrastructures and facilities which is all given by the administrators just for the students sake.
   MARCH 2018 Highest ranker in Provincial Level in terms of licensure Examination for Teachers conducted by the Professional.
   By April 2018, 1st batch of SHS graduated & the Keynote Speaker was (Dr. Ramon Fiel Abcede, DepEd, Regional Director)
